Kilkenny Celtic Festival explores and celebrates all aspects of Irish language and Celtic traditions in the context of their shared history and culture with the Celtic Nations employing lectures, song, dance, music, crafts and art.  The festivial normally runs between the last week in September and the first week in October....

Having started in the late seventies, this festival is a great venue for people to come and learn all about the local area straight from the mouths of local historians.
